A horn of nearly exact similarity appeared in a recent Christie's London sale. The auction catalogue made mention of another example in P.Pal, Elephants and Ivories in South Asia, 1981, cat. no. 85. The present example bears a fine patina consistent with use, some minor losses and old restorations. SOLD
